Sacrament of Baptism

If it is time for you to have your child baptized, we welcome you and your family. Please be assured that we will work together with you to make this a very special celebration for not only your family but for our parish community as well. Parents are required to be registered members of St. Rita Church for six months or longer before setting a date for Baptism.

To begin the process, the parents and Godparents will first need to attend a Baptism Preparation Session. The days and times of the classes are listed below.

ENGLISH BAPTISM CLASS Held the First Sunday of the month at 3:00 pm in the Chapel

SPANISH BAPTISM CLASS Held the Second Monday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Chapel

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Timings : Saturdays 3 PM - 4 PM or Monday through Friday by appointment.

The confessional is located in a separate room within the church’s Chapel and offers the option of face-to-face or behind-the-screen confessions.

Sacrament Of Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, is a sacrament where the consecrated bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The Eucharist nourishes us in our spiritual life, strengthens our unity with God and is considered the source and summit of our life. Sacrament Of Confirmation

Confirmation is a sacrament of initiation that completes the process begun at Baptism, strengthening you with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and affirming your commitment to the Church. It involves an anointing with chrism (blessed oil) by a bishop, symbolizing a spiritual maturity and a commitment to living and defending the faith as a “soldier of Christ.” Those seeking to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should look under Faith Formation for information on the classes to prepare for this Sacrament.

Sacrament of Matrimony

The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

In the Church’s Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, through the ministry of the priest, it is Jesus who touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailment. The Rite of Anointing tells us there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament. A careful judgment about the serious nature of the illness is sufficient.
